Eleven people have been injured after a car mounted the pavement outside the Natural History Museum in London.
A man was arrested in South Kensington, a busy London tourist area on Saturday afternoon, shortly before 2:30pm.
The Metropolitan Police has said that the incident is not being treated as being terror-related.
A video posted on Twitter showed a man being detained on the ground in front of the vehicle that is thought to have been involved in the collision.
Following the incident, footage online showed a large police presence in the area around the Natural History Museum.
Downing Street said that PM Theresa May was being kept up to date with the incident.
London mayor Sadiq Khan released a statement shortly after details began to emerge.
