The legendary soul singer Aretha Franklin has died at her home in Detroit, aged 76.
Tributes have poured in from across the worlds of music and politics to honour the ‘Queen of Soul’.

The star was reported to be “gravely ill” on Monday August 13. In the days since she was visited by Stevie Wonder and her ex-husband Glynn Turman. Franklin spent her final days under hospice care at her home “surrounded by friends and family”.
